It’s hard to imagine that the original batas created 500 years ago required much of a voice to have their language heard by large numbers. But as populations expanded, bringing automobiles, airplanes and all sorts of noise-making devices into presence, what was once sufficient became obsolete.
The batas produced by MOPERC have been described as a family of drums on steroids. The precision and quality that is built into each of these instruments permits a wide range of tuning possibilities, from traditional to modern, and like every drum that leaves our shop, they look as good as their sound.
Each set of three MOPERC batas requires 400 individual parts to be assembled in a process of 2500 steps. Leave a step out and the drum is less than perfect, and MOPERC is perfection! Depending upon your personal preferences for tone and appearance, MOPERC batas are available in Ash, Cherrywood or Spanish Cedar.Get a quote
