What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear Poncho Sanchez’ name? MOPERC Congas, of course! Since 2019, the friendship between MOPERC and Poncho has been so rewarding that the next natural step for the relationship was to create the “Poncho Sanchez Signature Series” line of congas. Made from Brazilian Mahogany using Poncho’s preferred shape, the limited line is available in all MOPERC sizes.

Poncho wanted a clean look, so these drums sport a band on the top and one on the bottom. Most importantly, they had to have the MOPERC sound. According to Poncho: “Man, these drums speak and have brightness, tone and body !” We couldn’t agree more, Poncho.
This drum also comes with a free handcrafted leather pouch, which is perfect to carry your Moperc tuning key. And guess who made these pouches???
